Social Capital in the Rural Poviats of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship

The subject of the monograph is the analysis of social capital as a factor of local development in the counties of the West Pomeranian region, and the main purpose of the empirical research carried out was to examine the relationship between the level of social capital and economic development in these counties in 2014-2018. This issue is important from the point of view of both the importance of social capital for regions and local communities, and the creation of social and economic development by local governments. It should be emphasized that the subject matter undertaken has its substantive justification in the evolution of views on the factors of economic development, from classical capital, labor and financial capital to the social capital studied by the Author. […] The monograph is a solid study of the relationship between social capital and economic development that has cognitive value. The author has demonstrated both theoretical and practical knowledge in the study of economic phenomena, as well as creative use of a variety of statistical methods.
